Multicultural Relationships

Multicultural relationships often struggle not because of lack of love, but because partners were shaped by different languages, cultures, and family systems

I work with couples and families whose relationships are influenced by immigration, cultural transition, and intergenerational experience. My focus is on helping people understand each other beyond words — and rebuild connection where misunderstandings, distance, or chronic conflict have taken over.

Couples with a Russian-Speaking Partner

When one partner grew up in a Russian-speaking culture and the other did not, conflicts often escalate around tone, emotions, and expectations. I help couples translate meaning—not just words—and rebuild safety in communication.

Cross-Cultural Couples

Partners may share a language but not the same cultural assumptions about closeness, roles, money, or family loyalty. I help couples slow down conflict, understand cultural differences, and build new shared agreements that work in real life.

Adult Children
of Immigrants & Their Parents

Immigration often shifts family roles, expectations, and power dynamics. I work with adult children and parents navigating guilt, boundaries, loyalty, and cultural misunderstandings—helping families rebuild connection without losing themselves.
