I first read Viktor Frankl's book "Man's Search for Meaning" at the age of 14, and it completely reshaped my worldview. His principles—if you can’t change your circumstances, change your attitude, and what you live for is the most important thing—guided me to pursue psychology. Growing up in a family of engineers in the early '90s, where psychology wasn’t exactly a well-known field, my decision was bold. But nothing was going to stop me!
I started attending Moscow State University’s young psychologist program and was able to pass exam to be admitted to one of the most competitive psychology programs in Russia, After five years, I graduated while also marrying and having my daughter. Life quickly became more complicated. At 22, my husband wasn’t ready for fatherhood, and as I worked as a psychologist earning just $100 a month, I realized it was time to leave. I found a job at a recruitment agency, began building a more independent life, and eventually met my second husband.
By then, I was the HR Director at Radio Maximum, juggling a thriving career and crisis therapy work. Unfortunately, after four years, tragedy struck: my second husband and I were in a car accident. In an instant, I went from being a wife to a widow. With a daughter to raise and bills to pay, I worked three jobs and, over three years, paid off all debts. But my body eventually gave in, and I realized I couldn’t do it all alone. That’s when I sought therapy for the first time, and the experience was transformative.
Two years later, feeling ready to start a new chapter, I realized my work in HR had given me the tools to help people navigate challenges. I knew that the combination of my personal experiences and professional skills could empower me to truly make a difference in people’s lives.
.After a move to the U.S., a second marriage, and a growing family, I shifted from HR to family and individual therapy. I completed my Master’s degree, passed the Board exam, and became a licensed clinical professional counselor at 49.
My background in HR, coaching, and crisis management provides me with a unique perspective on human behavior, relationships, and personal growth. I draw from my experience in recruitment, organizational development, and therapy to help families and individuals build stronger connections and overcome life’s obstacles. I use a range of therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Gottman, IFS, and Imago Therapy, to deliver fast, effective results.
I believe we grow through our relationships, and that’s why I focus on relational therapy.
I include children only as part of family therapy because I believe parents’ involvement is essential for lasting change. If you’re ready to overcome challenges, improve your relationships, and become the best version of yourself, I’m here to help you every step of the way.
